At present, the list of supported Linux MPI implementations is as follows:
MPICH
MPICH2
LAM/MPI 7
Open MPI v. 1.2.x
MVAPICH/libibverbs
MPICH-MX
MPICH-GM
Intel MPI v. 3.x
Scali MPI
Parastation MPI
Infinipath MPI
HP-MPI
The corresponding PC GAMESS/Firefly binaries are available in the Downloads section of the PC GAMESS/Firefly homepage.
MPICH binaries exist in three forms, namely fully statically linked, statically linked with MPICH library only, and fully dynamically linked. All other
binaries are fully dynamically linked and thus you need to compile and (or) install the particular MPI implementation you want to use with support of the shared libraries enabled.
Note! As all the currently available PC GAMESS/Firefly versions are 32-bit executables, you need 32-bit shared libraries even if running on 64-bit system!
