thank you for your replies! I installed Firefly and found an input file in the internet. For simplicity I copied the respective files into the working directory. I started the calculation by typing "firefly filename.inp" and the calculation failed with the error messages:
FATAL ERROR INITIALIZING FIREFLY! CHECK YOUR COMMAND LINE OPTIONS!
ON MASTER NODE, ERROR CODE IS : 0x00000040
Unable to create/chdir to temporary working directory
Could anybody explain these messages? I am a little confused, because after checking the installation I did' nt find any mistakes.
