Re^4: Minimum number of NSTATE required in MCSCF calculation

Dear Sanya,

For your suggestions that WSTATE(1)=0.1,1 for first the singlet excited state and WSTATE(1)=1,0.1 for the ground-state, is the calculaton changedd to state-averaging? If so, I need to specify ISTATE in $MCSCF, right?
Why 0.1 is used in both cases?
For first triplet excited state, do I still set WSTATE(1)=0.1,1?
For higher excited state such as the second singlet and triplet states, do I set WSTATE=0.1,0.1,1?
