Dear Antonio,
which release candidate are you using? If you are using rc38 as it seems from the command line you wrote it could be that the error is due to the internal secure block: basically rc38 stops working after February, 28th 2013 (if I remember correctly).
I suggest you to download the last version (rc40) and try it again with the same command. If it doesn't work may I suggest you to try using procgrp file to run firefly in parallel mode?Let me know if this works,
