Hello,

sorry for this misunderstanding. Indeed, from EMSL you can download two cc-pVDZ basis sets, and I am using the non-optimized one.
Glad you were able to figure out this difference, I should have
sent you my basis set from the beginning, sorru about that.

The case I am treating is indeed a quite tought case. It is a
radical cation dimer where the ground state is A(+)B and the excited state is AB(+), and this is one of the cases where I believe that state specific solvation can be useful.
