Recently I have tried Firefly 8 (r23) on Windows 7 64bit, Intel Corei7-2600k, using D&D script.
The CPU has 4 physical cores clocked at 3.4 GHz and the number of logical cores is doubled to 8.
When I set the number of CPUs in D&D to 8 FF uses just 4 of them. I would like to know that there is
a solution to make FF use 8 cores ? and Do the logical cores really help to speed up the calculations
by FF ? I'd better mention that I have used the following lines in my input files that may concern the issue.

$P2P P2P=.T. DLB=.T. $END
$smp call64=.t. mkl64=8 load=0 ssg32=0 msu32=0 mkllvl=3 $end
