Re^5: Solid State Disks for Temporary Files?

Alexei Popov

Dear Alexander,

I'd suggest you to carefully check internet for information on
drivers for the PCIe SSDs you are going to buy. There are many
fast PCIe SSDs with bad drivers or with no drivers at all for some OS.

Note, MP2 gradient uses random I/O so that the device latency
can be important even with SSDs esp. with fat nodes.

Kind regards,
Alexei
