I now know what the problem is, just not entirely sure how to fix it after reading the manuals. The manual says: "copy a desired input file into the file with name "input" and then run Firefly801.exe in the same directory where the "input" resides." I do not have a text file named "input" or a file : input.inp I think I read on another "tutorial" that I need to create this, and windows also tells me that this file is missing. I tried doing this, and I also tried it as a .bat . I believe that I am not saving it in the correct place. Where exactly should it be saved?

I extracted the files and unpacked the .rar, and now when I go to use the program it opens and then immediately shuts down. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or if I missed something. I would appreciate the advice.

>>Pedro, thank you for the tip I was able to create a .bat file, I open it and "firefly" (I can't actually tell if it is the program running or not, I'm just trusting you) "runs"; however, I'm still having the issue of the program closes before I can read anything, (it is maybe open for a milisecond.) and no output file is being created. Is this supposed to happen?
