For many reasons I did not test the performance of Firefly vs.
performance of GAMESS (US) for about ten years or so.
Sorry I do not know the answer to your question.
I'd like to point out that fastints is not just a fast 2-e integral
computation package but is also a specific interface to this package
allowing very efficient implementation of many computational methods.

The difference in performance is about 0.1% or so.
